Can a spice as popular as salt really be bad for you?

      Salt is really bad for you and if you always eat it you’ll start to have lots of health problems. Salt makes your body hold onto the water inside it. If you eat more salt, all that extra water stored  will raise your blood pressure.

      The higher your blood pressure  the greater strain on your heart, kidneys, arteries, and brain. These effects can lead to major health problems like heart attacks, strokes, dementia, and kidney disease. So next time you go to eat or cook something, try to cut out the amount of salt you put in the dish.
