Charles A.

February 7, 2018

Sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, or historical fiction! Whatever genre, it’s always good to read a book. You can find your favorite books at the WMS Book Fair. Be sure to look out for great books like these. The first story that you may find interesting is “Finding Gobi: The True Story of One Little Dog’s True Story.” This story is based on true events about a little dog, Gobi, running with in a marathon with a runner named Dion Leonard, who is actually the author of this book. The next book that will definitely be at the book fair is “Projekt 1065,” a World War II book from the award-winning author Alan Gratz. In this story, a boy named Michael O'Shaunessey and his family live in Berlin. Michael, along with all the other boys in school are members of the Hitler Youth. But Michael and his parents are spies. If you are love historical fiction books, this is definitely one you should get. The final book that may draw your attention is “Hatchet.” It’s about a 13 year old boy named Brian Robeson who is visiting his dad for the summer (his parents are divorced). He takes a plane, but the pilot has a heart attack and dies, causing it to crash land into a lake. Brian must survive on his own with a hatchet that his mother gave him. Whatever book series or genre you like, there are other great books to get at the WMS Scholastic Book Fair from 2/27/2018 to 3/1/2018....
