When planning your Walt Disney World vacation, make sure you make the right decision and go to Pandora in Animal Kingdom…

Pandora is a new attraction!  Since May 27th, 2017 it has been a popular sight to go to in Disney World.  On opening day the line to get into Pandora, was past the main attraction: The Tree of Life.  For days the lines were insane! People waited at 3:30 in the morning just to get in.  It still is hard to get on the ride because of the long lines.  Since the opening day the lines are always around a few hours everyday. Some of the rides and attractions that this sight has are Avatar Flight of Passage, Na’vi River Journey, and Valley of Mo’ara. Some of the shops and stands there are Pongu Pongu and Windtraders. Be sure to make a stop to Disney’s Pandora.

The Tree of Life

The Tree of Life is 145 feet tall.  If you get close to the Tree of Life, you can see over 300 animals carved into the tree’s bark, but if you want to get an even closer view of the animals on the tree you can walk the Discovery Island Trails. When you walk this trail you will be able to see all of the very detailed animals.  At night there is something called The Tree Of Life Awakenings. After dark if you look at the center of the tree you can see the tree come to life. About every ten minutes you can see fireflies light up on the tree and then all of the animals on the tree light up. This occurs from as soon as it is dark out until the park close. Also be sure to go to A Bug’s Life inside the Tree of Life. It is a 3-D show that is 8 minutes long.

Animal spotting

If you haven’t already, go check out Animal Kingdom’s Kilimanjaro Safaris.  There are a ton of animals!  There are so many facts that you probably didn’t know.  The Kilimanjaro Safaris is a nature preserve.  The animals are so majestic.  This safari has what they call “Nocturnal Encounter” as well.

If you are in the mood for walking, stop by the Wild Africa Trek.  You can see animals there, too!  During the summer of 2017, Sumatran tigers were welcomed into the park!  Sumatran tigers are an endangered species.  Sohni a Sumatran tiger, gave birth to two tiger cubs.  You can see these adorable cubs in the Maharajah Jungle Trek in Asia. There are animals everywhere you turn.

Animals aren’t the only things you can see in Animal Kingdom.  There are so many rides to go on!  If you like thrill, we recommend Expedition Everest.  It is a fast and fun ride, but there is a twist. It. Goes. Backwards!!!  It gets hot in Disney World.  It is a good thing that they have the Kali River Rapids!  This ride is so much fun!(If you like getting wet.)  This water ride can drench you.  Primeval Whirl is a ride that takes you back to the dinosaurs.  There are small hills you go up and down on while you are spinning around.  There are so many rides you can go on!  And these are just a few.

If you are spending your day at Animal Kingdom, here are some places to dine at.  Tusker House is a character meet and greet. Another amazing restaurant is Yak & Yeti. They serve amazing Chinese food. The Rainforest Cafe is a great restaurant that makes you feel like you are in the jungle surrounded by “animals”.

Once you enter the park the exploration is endless!
