Amal Unbound Book Review

Emma B.

Amal Unbound is  an awesome book ranked #9 on the New York Times Bestsellers List.  That is how I found out about it, and I recently finished it. It’s about a Pakistani girl named Amal who accidentally insults the leader of her community and is forced to work on the man’s estate to pay off her debts. She has to serve the man and his family and the man does not treat her well and does not appreciate her.  She is allowed to see her family a couple times a year, but she is able to find friends. She just wants to go home, but will she get to in the end? I really liked this book, and I hope you try it and you like it, too!
